Some participants may also be struggling with insomnia.

To qualify, you must:

  • be diagnosed with depression
  • have taken antidepressants in the past that did not work well for you
  • currently take an antidepressant medication but still have symptoms of MDD

The study will consist of two parts. In Part 1, participants will receive the investigational

In Part 2, participants will be subject to a second double blind phase with variable duration comparing the investigational medication to placebo for up to 16 weeks or more. Compensation will be provided for each completed session.

Qualified patients may receive study-required medical care and investigational study medication at no cost. The study will not pay for other medical care or current medication(s) needed to support personal daily health care routines.
